Become a member and join us on a field trip. We hold a number of field trips throughout the warmer months of the year, ranging from Sunday afternoon walks at a local reserve to 3-4 day camping trips. Information on recent field trips is provided below.

Brookfield Conservation Park & Moorunde Reserve

Between the 4th and 7th October 2019, the SAHG undertook a fauna survey of the Brookfield Conservation Park and the adjacent Moorunde Reserve, near Blanchtown in the Eastern Mount Lofty Mallee. The field trip was attended by 22 members of the SA Herpetology Group and the Field Naturalists Society of SA (Mammal Club).
