Identifying Reptiles

Thanks to Mark Hutchinson, curator of Reptiles, SA Museum speaking at the May SAHG meeting. Mark gave us a crash course on how to identify Brown Snakes which is particularly helpful given the recent additions to the Pseudonaja genus. Mark's talk also provided the opportunity for him to introduce the new South Australian reptile identification keys that he and Ian Williams (SAHG member) have recently published. These excellent keys are a must have for anyone interested in identifying our local reptiles. Copies of these keys are freely available on the SA Museum website (samuseum.sa.gov.au).
